In conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness month in October, the 1 in 3 Foundation will be hosting a panel discussion regarding Domestic Violence. Survivors will share their experience with extensive trauma and we will also have discussion with care providers including a member of the Nurse-Family Partnership, a family law attorney and a psychologist to discuss the mental aspects of enduring abuse and the lingering effects on the survivor and other family members.
